3, 5, and 6 gallon sizes (6 gallon size pictured). These carboys are scratch resistant and oxygen-impermeable, making them ideal for long fermentations. The opening is roughly 1.75″, which is plenty for Immersion’s 1.5″ diameter rod. A 0.5″ hole is drilled in the neck and a special sleeved grommet is used to allow for a sanitary air release.
SS BrewTech line of fermenters are affordable and functional. Immersion and Immersion Pro are compatible with the Brew Bucket and Brew Master Bucket (with carboy/bucket jacket) and the Chronical and Chronical Brewmaster 7-gallon (with the conical jacket).
5 and 6.5 gallon sizes (6.5 gallon pictured). Sold by Northern Brewer, these fermenters are the only option to use Immersion in glass. Their wide mouth allows for easy cleaning.
Lid altered with 1.75″ hole for Immersion and additional 0.5″ hole with sleeved grommet for sanitary air release. Fits both original and EVO2 Big Mouth Bubblers.
5 and 6.5 gallon sizes (5 gallon pictured). Sold by Northern Brewer, these fermenters are made from the same PET plastic as the carboys above, but have a wide mouth for easy cleaning.

|Small Neck Glass Carboys||Immersion requires a 1.75″ hole (#10 stopper size or larger) to fit properly. Traditional glass carboys have a 1″ hole and can only accept #6.5 stoppers. Immersion’s rod simply does not fit.|
|14 Gallon Fermenters and Larger||Immersion works best with 5-6 gallon liquid volumes in fermenters with a capacity of 8 gallons (30L) or less. 14 gallon fermenters require custom insulation and enough liquid volume for the rod to touch the wort. Immersion should work, but performance is not guaranteed.|
